Alerts: what triggers one and what a digest contains

Alerts watch changing questions

Turn alerts on from the Saved work library. A saved search watches for newly collected offerings that match its query and filters. A provider alert watches for new offerings from that provider. A skill alert watches for new offerings connected to that skill.

An offering alert watches changes to published price, delivery, current status, and schedule. A comparable-set alert watches fee changes among included candidates. Comparisons, labour-market views, and opportunity views are fixed views, so their library actions do not offer monitoring.

The first check establishes a baseline

For change-based alerts, CredScape needs a before and after. The first check records the current offering or comparable-set state without sending a false finding. Later checks compare against that baseline. A saved-search, provider, or skill alert uses the last successful monitoring window to identify newly collected offerings.

Pausing all alert emails does not close that window. When you resume, monitoring continues from the last successful digest rather than discarding changes that occurred while paused.

One daily digest gathers the findings

CredScape's daily alert run combines everything reportable for one person into one message. Each section gives a plain-language headline, a link back to the saved work, and either affected offerings or field-level changes. A section lists up to five offerings and states when more were found.

The digest goes to the owner of each alert under that person's own master preference. Use the unsubscribe link in a digest to turn off all CredScape alerts, or return to the library to change one item. Turning all alerts off leaves saved work untouched and sends a confirmation message. Review Turning alerts off from an email for the confirmation step and token limits.
