Reading an offering

Read the published facts first

Open an offering from Browse offerings. The page starts with its title, provider, category, status, and the credential or program type published by the source. The summary tiles show price, duration, and delivery format. A program can also show its number of courses and an ordered list of the courses CredScape can connect to it.

The description, learning objectives, recommended background, target audience, and course code appear when the source provides them. A blank section means that information was not published or was not available in the indexed source. CredScape does not infer a missing value.

Use skills as a second lens

The skill profile organizes standardized skill tags when CredScape can map the source statements. The most distinctive tags appear first. Selecting a linked skill opens Search with that skill applied. If standardized tags are unavailable, the page can show shorter phrases extracted from the source, or point you back to the source when the statements are too long to use as tags.

Check context and act

A course can show the programs it belongs to. A program can show its member courses. These links describe a bundle relationship, not duplicate kinds that should be summed.

Use View Original to verify current provider language, dates, registration details, and any field that matters to your decision. From the actions panel you can save the offering to your library, add it to a side-by-side comparison, browse other offerings in the same category, or report information that appears incorrect. Saving preserves a path back to the offering; it does not turn alerts on automatically.
