What CredScape covers and what it does not
Coverage starts with published offerings
CredScape indexes public information about non-credit offerings. The index brings provider names, subjects, credentials, delivery formats, schedules, durations, prices, audiences, skills, and source links into a consistent structure when those details are available. Start in Browse offerings to see the indexed catalogue, or use Search when you have a market question in mind.
Direct institutional coverage spans Canada and the United States. Search can also include searchable platform catalogues. A provider that appears through a platform does not establish direct coverage of every market where that provider is based. Use the catalogue and location filters to set the boundary you need.
Read each count in context
An offering is the unit you browse. Course and program are its two kinds. A program can bundle courses that also appear separately, so CredScape reports the course and program tiers separately instead of adding them into one inflated total. Market-composition shares count courses only.
Coverage reflects what CredScape has indexed from public sources. It is not enrolment, market share, or a complete statement of everything a provider currently offers. Browse offerings and Search show active offerings and those whose current status is unknown. A discontinued offering remains reachable from its provider's profile and carries a No longer offered label on its own page.
Follow the source
Fields remain blank when the source did not publish them. CredScape does not fill a missing price, duration, or audience with an estimate. Open an offering and use its source link when you need to verify the current provider page. For the collection process and field-level boundaries, review Data and methodology.
